I'M BACK FROM TAIWAN! And suffering from post-Taiwan syndrome. :`( I miss Taiwan already!! Actually more of the people in my tourgroup rather than the country; such as the super-
juai tourguide (his name is actually
Xiao Cai a.k.a. small vegetable), the crazy boys (in which the craziest eventually became my godbro!), the two girls I hang out with the most when shopping and at the themepark, the sweet old couples.. actually simply everyone in the tour. In my opinion,
Xiao Cai's one of the best tourguides ever. Its really difficult to put everything that happened during the past 7 days down in words, but I gotta say I became much more independent the past few days because there was only me and my mother! We were the only family without men in the tour. We had to carry and take care of our heavy luggages, watch out for ourselves when crossing the road (Taiwan roads are crazy), make sure we leave nothing behind after checking out every hotel.. but it was pretty fun touring with my mother. Though we get on each other's nerves once in a while, haha but that's normal la. I think the tour would be
very different if my dad and bro came along. And oh yeah, I think I spoke the most amount of chinese ever in my life during the past 7 days. Even my mom agrees, LOL.
Advertisement time!

If you look like Jolin Tsai or just interested in this pirated version of Jay Chou above, feel free to comment below! LOL. This is my godbro! :D How did he become my godbro? He simply asked my mother out of a sudden if she could be his godma and so ta-daa, he become my
gan di. He loves to sing
Xiao Wei, but it is strongly adviseable to put on your ear-plugs whenever he does that. He loves to go
Woo! in your face, stand beside you a long time until you notice him, shake his butt when catwalking down the street and then turn back to give that 'sexy' look to seduce you, dance with his handphone blasting music, wave at you randomly..... so with him around you'll never be bored that I can assure you. But gotta admit, he's a super sweet guy, always offering to carry shopping bags and even following me upstairs to get my mother's watch. A really good
gan didi! Hee. Proud to have him as my godbro.
Anyway, I'll just sum up the whole tour by putting down what I'll miss most about the trip :)
I'll miss the whole pigging out thing (eat, sleep on the bus, eat again, back to the bus)
I'll miss the karaoke sessions on the bus (though my godbro's version of
Xiao Wei was horrible, lol)
I'll definitely miss the shopping
I'll miss the Taiwan snacks! (mua chee, oyster mee sua, delicious fishball soup, icecream peanut popiah.. ahh just all of them)
I'll miss the colourful streets
I'll miss hanging out with the
jiemeis
I'll miss the lovely wind and Genting-like weather
I'll miss all the lame jokes shared with the boys and girls in the grp
I'll miss the super cute and pretty 2-yr old girl in the tourgrp
I'll miss the swimming 'teaching' and competition session during our stay at
Dao Ming Si's house
I'll miss the hot spring!
I'll miss
Xiao CaiI'll miss my godbrother and his family
AH.. a truly unforgettable trip. :) Am now trying very hard to adapt to S'pore again. Thank goodness the weather is cooling now, heh. We are very lucky, because right after we visited Chiufen and the Taroke Gorge, Taiwan banned entry into these places because it was too dangerous. There was even a tour bus accident in Chiufen during our trip. Thanks to our amazing driver, we came out all safe and sound. Overall, thank God for bringing us all back to S'pore in one piece!
Taiwan elections are today! Hee, came back just before their elections. There were banners and posters EVERYWHERE during our trip. And we even saw firecrackers! They are legal in Taiwan. Learnt alot about Taiwan's history and politics too.
Using 马 from 马英九 + 扁 from 陈水扁 = 骗 , heh. If you can't see the chinese words I was saying using Ma from Ma YingJiu + Bian from Chen Shui Bian = Pian (bluff)
Alright! PICTURES SOON! Imagestation is giving problems, RAH!!
